Men’s shock-resistant quartz wristwatch of Japanese production powered by solar energy, Casio GM-B2100SD-1A from the G-Shock collection, featuring analog and digital time display with Bluetooth® Smart module. The rechargeable battery is charged from any light source. Battery life after a full charge is approximately 7 months under normal use without light exposure, and up to 18 months when stored in complete darkness with the power-saving function enabled. The power-saving mode turns off the display to conserve energy when the watch remains in the dark. Estimated battery service life is at least 10 years.
The case is made of stainless steel. Via Bluetooth®, the watch connects to a smartphone and, through the CASIO WATCHES app, provides access to additional functions. The watch automatically syncs with the phone and checks time accuracy four times a day. A phone finder function allows the smartphone to emit a sound signal. Timer, stopwatch, and alarm settings can be adjusted via the app, reminders can be set, current location can be recorded (TIME and PLACE), and battery charge level can be checked.
Functions include 12/24-hour format, automatic calendar up to 2099, weekday display in one of six languages, daylight saving time (DST), world time for 38 cities (38 time zones), 5 independent alarms, hourly time signal, stopwatch with 1/100-second accuracy measuring up to 59 minutes 59 seconds, countdown timer (60-minute range, 1-second step), dual super-bright LED backlight with selectable illumination duration (1.5 or 3 seconds), button sound mute function, hand-shift function for easy digital display viewing, and phone finder function.
Hands and markers are coated with Neobrite luminescent material for visibility in the dark. The module incorporates alphaGEL elements — a flexible silicone layer that provides enhanced shock and vibration absorption. The dial is manufactured using Yamagata Casio fine processing technology and paired with silver-vapor-deposited indices for excellent readability and refined appearance.
