You have the right to return or exchange a purchased watch in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine. However, certain conditions must be met depending on the quality of the product.
Exchange or return of a product of proper quality
According to Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Rights Protection”, you have the right within 14 days (excluding the day of purchase) to exchange a watch of proper quality for a similar one if it does not fit by shape, size, color, style, or cannot be used for its intended purpose. Key conditions:
- The watch has not been used.
- The original appearance, consumer properties, seals, factory packaging, and all documents are preserved.
- If a similar product is not available at the time of request, you may choose another model, receive a refund, or wait for the restocking of the same model.
Return or exchange of a product of improper quality
According to Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Rights Protection”, if significant defects caused by the manufacturer are discovered during the warranty period, you have the right to demand a replacement or a refund.
A significant defect is considered one that:
- Makes it impossible to use the watch for its intended purpose;
- Was caused by the manufacturer;
- Reappears after being fixed;
- Cannot be fixed at all, or takes more than 14 calendar days to fix, or makes the product substantially different from what was intended by the contract.
To verify quality, an examination may be conducted at an authorized service center. If your claim is justified, the replacement is made immediately (if available) or within two months. If replacement is impossible — you may choose another model with a price adjustment or request a refund.
Refund procedure
For products of proper quality: the refund amount is based on the price at the time of purchase. Money is returned on the day of the request, but no later than 7 days if technically impossible.
For products of improper quality: the refund is based on the price at the time of the request (if the price increased) or at the time of purchase (if the price decreased). The money is returned on the same day or within 7 days.
What documents are required for a return?
To process your request, please provide:
- A fiscal or sales receipt confirming the purchase;
- Full product completeness;
- Original factory packaging;
- A properly filled-out warranty card.
Important conditions for exchanging/returning a product of proper quality
- The product is not on the list of goods that cannot be exchanged or returned.
- No more than 14 days have passed since the purchase.
- The watch has not been used: no user registration, no bracelet length adjustment, no software intervention (no apps installed, changed, or deleted).
- The appearance is preserved: no scratches, abrasions, signs of wear, moisture, dirt, or damage.
- All functions work properly, no defects.
- Seals, tags, protective films, and markings are intact. No inscriptions on the product or packaging.
- The purchase receipt, warranty card, instruction manual, etc., are available.
Consumer responsibilities before using the product
According to paragraph 3 of Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Rights Protection”, you are obliged to:
- Carefully read the operating instructions provided by the manufacturer or seller.
- If necessary, request clarifications from the seller or manufacturer before using the product.
- Use the watch solely for its intended purpose and follow the conditions specified in the operating documentation.
- Follow the safety methods provided by the manufacturer or generally accepted rules for similar goods.
